LANGuardian can detect the presence and volume of IPv6 traffic on the network. However drilldown is based on MAC addresses rather than on IPv6 addresses but gives the end-user the ability to report on the source and destination of this type of traffic. Another useful feature of LANGuardian is its ability to detect IPv6 traffic encapsulated within IPv4 traffic via its intrusion detection engine.
