How exactly do I backup the LANGuardian?

Is it possible to take a backup of the LANGuardian system.....

    There are two parts to backing up a LANGuardian.

    1. Under administration there is an option to backup the LG settings. We would recommend that customers do this every 1-3 months depending on the amount of changes they make to the configuration. This does not backup the data captured, similar to backing up the settings on a router

    2. Again under administration there is an option to access the LANGuardian archives. Here you can configure the LG to automatically export old data. We current support exporting to SSH and FTP servers.

    No option exists to configure a backup server to connect to LG and backup the data.
