What is the N/A user?

On the LANGuardian why is there an entry N/A appearing in some of the User reports?

There will always be network traffic which can not yet be allocated to a specific user, for these cases the traffic will be assigned to the default use N/A. The main cases are

    - Traffic from a server (may be accessing the internet as part of an automated update process).

    - Traffic from a host which may not be synced with the Active Directory infastructure ie Unix hosts

    - There may be network traffic which the LANGuardian has recorded for a specific host but has not yet co-ordinated with the Active Directory login details. For the moment this is assigned to user N/A until the system can allocate it to the correct user once the correlation of information takes place.
