LANGuardian can only see file operations, if they happen on a File Share.
So, LANGuardian will report if some
creates
reads
writes
renames
deletes
a file on a File Share.

If a user copies a file from a fileshare to their local computer, LANGuardian will see the file read from the fileshare, but not the file write onto the local computer (a user can do this using Windows Explorer or DOS shell prompt).

From a LANGuardian perspective, a file read, is the same as a file copy (the user/computer has read the data in the file).

BUT LANGuardian will not (it cannot) report a "file copy" action in any report, it will report such actions as "file read" only.
