Can LANGuardian be used to tell who has a lock on a file?

I want to known who is locking a file on a network share.

Yes, the LANGuardian file share monitoring module will allow you to find out who is causing file locks on your network.

If you have an issue, logon to the LANGuardian web front end and go to the search dashboard. Enter the file name in the file activity section and then go. The next screen will show you what systems are accessing the file and you can then see what users are associated with these by clicking on the 'view report with usernames' option at the top of the report.
