My service provider has informed me someone on my network is attempting to access multiple ssh servers using an iphone. Can the LANGuardian help to detect when this traffic is been generated?

The LANGuardian can track IPhone activity by correlating two aspects of the data that the LANGuardian can record for a network. First of all the LANGuardian can detect traffic from the wireless network and report which hosts are accessing ssh servers. Secondly the Web browser module reports can be filtered to focus on iPhone web clients. Combining the reports to obtain a list of wireless connected IP addresses with iPhone web clients which are accessing ssh servers can then be used to provide the required report.

This is a good example of how the different data streams of the LANGuardian can be combined to generate very specific searches for network activity. If anyone is interested in adding this report to there LANGuardian please contact
