Email monitor. How do other folks use it?

I see that there is an optional email module for the LANGuardian. I understand that it is only for SMTP email but do you know how other folks use it? currently all of our email goes through Mcafee both inside and out so we do have tracking with them. I’m not sure if the email module will give us more than what Mcafee gives us.

Some info on the ways customers use the email module:
- Allows you to detect rouge SMTP servers on your network. Recently we had someone download our software where they needed to track down the source of SPAM email on their network. Their ISP sent them notifications reporting that their network was a source of SPAM but the notification only gave them the outside IP address of their firewall. Once they had LANGuardian installed inside their network they found the source within minutes. Purchased LANGuardian on this strength of this use case alone

- Find out who received certain email. Another one of our customers (University in London, UK) became aware of a phishing attack on their network. Users were been sent phishing emails with a specific subject line. The used the LANGuardian email reports to identify how many people this email went to
