I was reading on your website that I can deploy LANGuardian to monitor what is happening inside my ESXi servers (virtual networks). I have no problem setting up the LANGuardian but I am wondering what I should do on the networks side

1. Deploy LANGuardian on the ESXi host in question
2. Create a new virtual switch and associate the LANGuardian sensor NIC with this switch
3. Click on the switch properties and select the default port group. Edit this and assign VLAN 4095. This is a special VLAN used for network monitoring
4. Edit the security settings of this switch and allow promiscuous mode.

You should now be up and running as your LANGuardian will have visibility of traffic trans-versing the existing virtual switch(es)
