How do I update my LANGuardian trial with the extension I received?

If you have just received a trial extension and would like to update it. See the instructions below for updating your trial:

You will need to retrieve the license file from licensing@netfort.com

The license file has a file name of <netfort-license-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx>.txt.

To activate this license, follow the below steps.

If the trial has expired:

1.       Download and save the license file to a computer that can be accessed from LANGuardian GUI.
2.       Click Browse to locate the file you want to upload, then click upload to add the license file to LANGuardian.

If the trial hasn't expired yet:

1.       Download and save the license file to a computer that can be accessed from LANGuardian GUI.
2.       Click on the settings icon in the LANGuardian menu bar and select Configuration.
3.       Go to the System section, and click View the system license.
4.       Click Browse to locate the file you want to upload, then click upload to add the license file to LANGuardian.
