How does the LANGuardian deal with wireless?

We can't deal with the traffic while it is ‘in the air’ but wireless access points are normally wired back to the core where we can pick up the activity. Most universities have wireless networks for students now and in some cases they have a custom dashboard set-up to focus on this network. All our reports and features work. In a way its like a WAN site on the network, the router is the wireless access point and we see the traffic going to/from it.

What we cant do is any sort of signal/channel analysis.

Try changing your virtual NIC settings to 'bridged'. You will need to assign LANGuardian an IP address from your LAN if you do this. This subject is covered around 2:15 into the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rmw0qKU56jc

Hi Keith

I have more question now.. Is there isn't any way to know other laptop activity beside the one i'm using on LanGuardian?
I'm using win 8.1 and the LanGuardian is installed on virtualbox.
And one more thing, for the ip address for LanGuardian, did i must use ip from my wifi or the one in virtualbox?

Thank you for your help..
