Heartbleed is a flaw in OpenSSL,the open source encryption standard used by the majority of websites that need to transmit the data that users want to keep secure.

Based on updates and comments published by OpenSSL and CentOS, LANGuardian is not susceptible to this vulnerabillity.

Can I use LANGuardian to investigate?

Yes.

LANGuardian can detect servers running SSL/TLS on any port.
When a client connects to a server, LANGuardian can detect if that server is running the heartbleed extension.
LANGuardian can detect and generate an alert in the event of an exploit attempt.

Where can I get more Info.?
We will update our forum as we receive more information. Please check this on a regular basis.
