This involves moving a LANGuardian deployment (single system) from one physical server to another.

The steps you need to complete are as follows:

1. Backup the old LANGuardian system configuration at this link https://X.X.X.X/sysadm/backup.cgi, you then have the option to download that file.

2. Import your old configuration to your new system by going to this link: https://X.X.X.X/sysadm/backup.cgi and clicking on 'Add Old Rollback'. The system will reboot automatically and when it comes back up, you will see that it looks like your LANGuardian from your old system.

3. Request a license by verifying system ID on new system. This can be found by going to the Settings menu page and selecting the License link i.e. https://X.X.X.X/license/license.cgi If you can copy and paste the text please, it will make it easier for licensing@netfort.com to issue the license.

4. Send us the system ID so that we can issue you a 'Reader' license for your old system (in case you need to reference anything post-migration).

We have a selection of videos here which may help you get the new system up and running:

You can download the ISO for LANGuardian at this link:
