Over the past week, several customers have told us they would like their LANGuardian Trends to be over a day or a week.
With LANGuardian trends, you can monitor specific aspects of network activity over a period of time. Trends allow you to identify anomalies in user behaviour and traffic levels that you could not easily identify from reports.
The default view for your LANGuardian Trends is 2 days as shown in the screenshot below.
The following procedure describes the steps to alter the Trend time range in days parameter:
- Click on the gear icon in the LANGuardian menu bar and Select Settings.
- On the LANGuardian Configuration page, click Configuration, set the IP address, SNMP collectors etc of the system.
- Enter a new value in the Trend time range in days field (values accepted 1-14). This is a global setting and so affects all trends on the system.
- Save changes when you are finished.
And of course, please contact us if you have any further questions about Trends or about LANGuardian in general.
