It's easy to monitor cryptocurrency mining activity right across your network with LANGuardian, either by filtering built-in reports or creating custom reports:
  • The Services :: Network Events (DNS Lookups) report shows suspicious DNS client traffic to any website domain name where 'coin' is mentioned.
  • The Security :: Top Network Events report shows different types of IDS event metadata associated with crypto mining and IRC communications over non standard ports.
In each of these reports, you can drill down to further details - for example, to find what clients and users have cryptocurrency miner software installed.

Watch this short YouTube video to find out how more about how you can monitor cryptocurrency traffic with LANGuardian.

And, as always, if you have questions about any aspect of LANGuardian, please contact us on support@netfort.com any time.
