Trends based on events

When Reports are saved as a Trend, they are judged by a Time-stamp (X-Axis) & Bandwidth or Events (Y-Axis).

At the moment the default Y-Axis filter for Trends is based on Bandwidth per second (Kbps or Mbps).

NetFort is currently developing a simple GUI field to allow Bandwidth to be changed to Events.
The following is an easy work around for the moment ::

In order to change this to Events per second (Evps), the Trend in question will have to be edited.
Select Edit positioned at the right hand side of the Trend name.
In the object labeled Y-Axis - Cahnge the "Format" field to "evps" instead of "mbps/kbps" & save when action is completed.

Example code snippet shown here ::
"y_axis" => {
"format" => "evps",
"min" => 0,
"max" => 10,
"label" => "Filenames actions",
"autoscale" => 1

This is also a solution to setting alarms on a Trend based on Evps.
